Dr. Frantz Dorsainvil is a Haitian-American who has made Nassau County his home for the past 25 years. He is a well-respected member of the Haitian community as well as the mainstream public at large. He has earned a Doctorate degree in Education Leadership and Technology from Dowling College. He has also earned two masters degrees in education from Long Island University, C.W. Post and College of New Rochelle. He has received his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from SUNY College at Old Westbury (1995), where he has found his calling as an educator.

Dr. Dorsainvil has always found the time to help the community through the Television Program “Tele-education”, for which he has hosted for over 15 years. He utilizes the television program to educate, and inform the Haitian-American community in Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.

He is a motivator who propels the community into action when his homeland needs assistance from the diaspora. He worked very closely with Uniondale Public School District and the Uniondale Fire Department in collecting funds and donating goods. He has traveled to Haiti to distribute medical supplies and other basic supplies for daily living long after the earthquake. He has also traveled as a humanitarian to Kigali Health Institute, Rwanda Africa to bring donations to genocide victims and orphans.

In addition, local organizations called upon him for assistance in speaking about Haiti and the Haitian-American community in Long Island. Dr. Dorsainvil is very passionate about education and helping others. He is very excited about the Gift of Writing Foundation and its mission. He is looking forward to work with individuals, institutions and organizations who are willing to support our mission.

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as the President of the Gift of Writing Foundation.

My journey at Trendcatch Digital Advertising LLC has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by the establishment of our flagship headquarters in Hempstead, NY, and a significant audience reach of 1 million New Yorkers every month through Trendcatch Billboards in diverse locations. I have also fostered key collaborations, supported political campaigns, built relationships with community leaders, and formed partnerships with organizations like Personal Touch Homecare Inc., Community Counseling & Mediation, and the US Army.

My commitment to community betterment and youth empowerment shines through in my work. I've engaged with over 70 local small businesses across all five boroughs of New York, spanning a wide network of professionals, workers, seniors, immigrants, teachers, and students. My expertise in digital and static billboard marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, activation marketing, and data analysis has enabled me to bring brands to life and create impactful campaigns.

Now, I am excited to channel this wealth of experience, relationships, and marketing expertise into giftofwriting.org's mission of education and scholarships in Haiti and New York. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those seeking education and opportunities. Thank you for for your consideration, and I look forward to the meaningful work ahead.

Director of Operations

Vicki Sylvain is the founder of Quiescere Resource Center (QRC) and the The VSS Group, LLC. She is a passionate advocate for the growth and advancement of women through personal and professional development.

Vicki has a track record of impactful community service and entrepreneurial ventures. She initiated the Survival Kit Drive for Haiti, distributing over 39,000 hygiene kits globally in support of women and children survivors of the natural disasters. QRC is now dedicated to addressing period-related insecurities in the United States through the I am A Rose Project and Purposeful Pathways.

Vicki Sylvain, works for Child Care Council of Nassau as the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement. She is also the creator/owner of the award-winning Shoe-B®. Vicki is committed to living her purpose by serving her community globally.
